What is the Namaz / Prayer Times?
The five daily prayers (Salah / Namaz) are the second of the Five Pillars of Islam. Each prayer has a specific time window defined by the position of the Sun. Fajr begins at astronomical dawn; Dhuhr at solar noon; Asr in the afternoon; Maghrib at sunset; and Isha after the disappearance of twilight. This prayer times calculator uses the Adhan.js library (trusted by millions) and supports 12 major calculation methods including Karachi (for Pakistan/South Asia), Muslim World League, Saudi Umm al-Qura, ISNA, Egyptian, Turkish and more.
Why people use this calculator
Knowing the exact prayer time is a religious obligation. Times vary by location and season  a few minutes' error can invalidate the prayer. This tool uses GPS-accurate coordinates and the standard Sun-position algorithm to give you reliable times wherever you are in the world.
